On April 9, students from the UOU Korean Language Center visited Gyeongju as part of a cultural immersion program aimed at deepening their understanding of Korean culture and enhancing their motivation to learn the Korean language.
In the morning, the students explored Daereungwon Tomb Complex and Hwangridan-gil, where they experienced the historical and cultural atmosphere of the ancient Silla capital.
In the afternoon, the group visited Ungok Seowon, a Confucian academy, where they participated in traditional tea ceremony (다도) and Korean calligraphy (서예) experiences.
The field trip provided students with a meaningful opportunity to engage with Korea’s rich cultural heritage and further immerse themselves in their language learning journey. |
