UIP is a two-week international summer program open to students from UOU’s sister universities. The program offers a 10-hour Korean language course, along with classes and excursions on Korean culture, history, society, and business.
Participants visit cultural and historical sites in Ulsan and nearby cities, including the ancient capital Gyeongju. They also tour major industrial complexes in Ulsan, known as the “Industrial Capital of Korea” and home to the world’s largest automotive, shipbuilding, and petroleum industries.
Through the program, students gain a broad understanding of Korea’s tradition and industrialization while engaging with peers from diverse cultural backgrounds.
UIP provides a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for future global leaders to experience Korea where the past and present converge.
