The Office of International Affairs and Education (OIAE) and the RISE Project Group at the University of Ulsan successfully supported the participation of 42 international students in the 2026 Global Talent Fair, held at COEX in Seoul from June 1 to 2, 2026.
The program was organized as the final stage of a three-step career support initiative designed to strengthen the employability and career readiness of international students. Through participation in Korea’s largest global recruitment fair, students were provided with valuable opportunities to interact directly with recruiters, explore career pathways, and gain firsthand experience in the recruitment process. During the two-day event, participants visited corporate recruitment booths, attended career consulting sessions, participated in on-site interviews, and joined various programs including job seminars, recruitment presentations, and networking events. These activities enabled students to gain a deeper understanding of the Korean job market and develop practical skills for future employment. Students commented that the event provided a valuable opportunity to communicate directly with recruiters, explore various career options, and better understand employment opportunities in Korea. Many participants noted that the experience increased their confidence in pursuing future careers and preparing for employment after graduation. Based on the positive outcomes of the program, OIAE and the RISE Project Group will continue to provide practical career development opportunities, including career workshops, employment counseling, and job fair participation support, to help international students successfully build their careers and establish long-term futures in Korea. |
