UOU welcomed students from Ludong University this summer for the 2025 LDU-UOU Summer Short-Term Program, scheduled to take place from July 14 to July 26, 2025.
A total of 17 participants, including 13 students and 1 faculty leader from LDU, will join this two-week program.
The program is designed with three main goals. First, it aims to strengthen students’ Korean language proficiency through intensive language courses and TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean) preparation. Second, it seeks to enhance UOU’s visibility and international reputation, ultimately contributing to the recruitment of more Chinese students. Lastly, it provides participants with valuable opportunities to experience Korean culture firsthand, through visits to historical sites, industry tours, and cultural activities.
Throughout the two-week period, participating students will attend structured Korean language classes, specialized TOPIK lectures, and academic department visits to deepen both their linguistic and disciplinary knowledge. In addition, they will take part in a variety of cultural and field activities, including heritage site tours, industrial visits, and outdoor programs, allowing them to gain a well-rounded understanding of Korean culture and society. |
