OASIS-4 Program: Supporting International Students' Start-Up Dreams in Korea

From May 24 (Friday) to May 26 (Sunday), 2024, Office of International Affairs and Education of University of Ulsan successfully hosted the OASIS-4 (Overall Assistance for Start-up Immigration System) Program

This initiative, organized by the Global Start-up Immigration Center, aimed to assist international students with aspirations of establishing businesses in Korea.

The OASIS program, designated by the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, has been in operation since 2013. It is designed to promote domestic entrepreneurship among highly skilled foreign innovators, contributing to job creation and fostering innovation in Korea. The program provides comprehensive support for foreign entrepreneurs, including assistance with establishing a business in Korea and obtaining the D-8-4 Start-up Visa.

By completing this program, participants fulfill the eligibility requirements to apply for the D-8-4 visa, paving the way for their entrepreneurial journey in Korea.

The recent program at University of Ulsan proved to be a valuable opportunity for international students aiming to start businesses in Korea.

Through this initiative, participants gained critical insights and resources, bringing them closer to realizing their start-up ambitions.

The OASIS program continues to play a vital role in supporting talented entrepreneurs with innovative ideas and technical expertise, fostering a vibrant start-up ecosystem in Korea.
