The Office of International Affairs and Education (OIAE) at the University of Ulsan successfully held the career workshop, Mastering LinkedIn & Job Websites, on October 28, 2026, in Room 407 of the International Building (#43).
The workshop was organized to enhance the career development and employment readiness of international students by providing practical information and strategies for navigating the job market in Korea and abroad. The program aimed to help students better understand various online career platforms and utilize digital resources effectively in their job-search process. The session was led by Professor Benjamin Montgomery and conducted entirely in English. During the workshop, participants explored various aspects of LinkedIn, including professional profile development, personal branding, networking strategies, and the effective use of online platforms for career advancement. The session also introduced major Korean job-search websites and provided useful insights into the recruitment process and employment opportunities available to international students. Through the lecture and Q&A session, participants had the opportunity to gain a broader understanding of digital career platforms and practical approaches to job searching.
