Kang Moon-gi, the Chairman of the University of Ulsan Alumni Association and the CEO of Hanjoo ENC, has been making headlines since last year for consistently donating scholarships to international students studying at his alma mater. In recognition of his ongoing contributions, the UOU has named these scholarships the 'Kang Moon-gi Scholarships.' On Sep 20th, Chairman Kang visited his alma mater, University of Ulsan, and presented a sum of 5 million Korean Won to nine international scholarship recipients.
During the scholarship presentation ceremony, Chairman Kang remarked, "International students studying at the UOU will also become UOU alumni after graduation. I hope they study diligently in Korea and achieve their dreams." He expressed his heartfelt wishes for their success. President Oh Yeon-cheon also attended the event and shared stories from his own time as an international student, advising, "To reap the rewards of studying abroad, it's important to build language skills.“
