We provide information on the festivals being held in Ulsan in March. Interested students are advised to take note. In Ulsan, the Ulju Jakcheonjeong Cherry Blossom Festival in Ulju-gun will be held on the 31st, marking the beginning of the spring flower season. This will be followed by the Nam-gu Gunggeorang Cherry Blossom Festival on April 4, and the Ulju Daewoonsan Azalea Festival on April 26. In particular, a series of major flower festivals representing Ulsan will take place in May. When Muggeo Stream is fully blanketed in cherry blossoms, Ulsan’s signature cherry blossom festival, the “Gunggeorang Cherry Blossom Festival,” comes to life. Along a 2.5 km walking trail, around 400 cherry trees burst into bloom all at once, creating a breathtaking scene. In addition, more than 40 lanterns made of hanji (traditional Korean paper) in various shapes are displayed along the stream. Visitors can also enjoy a variety of side events, including live performances by invited singers, food stalls, and photo zones. |
