2026학년도 제1차 외국인 유학생 대표자 회의 결과 안내


울산대학교 국제교류처는 외국인 유학생과의 소통 강화를 위하여 2026학년도 제1차 외국인 유학생 대표자 회의를 개최하였으며, 주요 논의 결과를 다음과 같이 안내드립니다.


■ 회의 개요

 1. 일시: 2026년 1월 12일(월) 12:00 ~ 13:00

 2. 장소: 국제관(43호관) 글로벌 라운지

 3. 참석자: 학생 6명, 교직원 4명

■ 주요 논의 사항

 1. 식당 및 편의시설 안내

  - 학생식당 무거관 통합 이전 안내
  - 글로벌 라운지 18시 이후 상시 개방 안내


 2. 대학원 졸업 요건(한국어 이수) 안내

  - 대상: 교내 석사,박사,석박사통합과정에 재학 중인 유학생
  - 요건: 교내 한국어 프로그램 100시간 이상 수료 또는 TOPIK 1급 이상
  - 이수 기한: 외국어 및 전공종합시험 신청 학기 이전까지
    ※ 사회통합프로그램(KIIP)은 졸업 요건으로 인정되지 않음
  - 한국어 회화반: 매 학기 운영(수강료 580,000원, 2월 마지막 주 공지 예정)


 3. 외국인 문화행사 운영

  - 2026년부터 매 학기 외국인 문화잔치 개최 예정


 4. 유학생 대표자 회의 운영

  - 대표자 참석 원칙
  - 대표자 부재 시 국가별 자체 선출 또는 희망자 모집


 5. 유학생 건의사항

  - 교내 농구장 시설 노후화에 따른 안전 점검 및 보수 요청

  - 유학생 교류 활성화를 위한 ‘유학생 체육대회’ 개최 제안


외국인 유학생의 의견을 적극 반영하여 안정적인 학업 환경과 지원 체계를 지속적으로 개선해 나갈 예정입니다.
유학생 대표자 회의는 정기적으로 운영될 예정이오니, 외국인 유학생 여러분의 많은 관심과 참여를 바랍니다.



1st International Student Meeting 2026 – Summary


The OIAE held the 1st International Student Meeting for 2026 to strengthen communication with international students. Key outcomes are summarized below.


■ Meeting Overview

 1. Date & Time: January 12, 2026 (Mon), 12:00 – 13:00
 2. Venue: Global Lounge, International Building (Building 43)
 3. Participants: 6 students, 4 faculty/staff


■ Key Discussion Points

 1. Cafeteria & Facilities

  - Student Canteen: The student canteen from the University Union Hall has moved into Mugeo Hall (behind the Int’l Building) from its original location.

  - Global Lounge: The Global Lounge will be open for free use even after 6:00 PM, even at the weekends.


 2. Graduate School Graduation Requirement (Korean Language Proficiency)

  - Eligible Students: International students enrolled in master’s, doctoral, or combined master’s–doctoral programs

  - Requirement: Completion of at least 100 hours of the university’s Korean language program or TOPIK Level 1 or higher

  - Deadline: Must be completed before the semester in which students apply for the foreign language and comprehensive major examinations

   ※ The Social Integration Program (KIIP) is not recognized as a graduation requirement

  - Korean Conversation Classes: Offered every semester (Tuition: KRW 580,000 / Announcement scheduled for the last week of February)


 3. International Cultural Events

  - International Cultural Festivals will be held every semester starting 2026

 

 4. Student Representatives Meeting Operation

  -Representatives attend meetings. If no representative is available, one will be elected within each national community or recruited from volunteers.


 5 .Student Suggestions

  - Safety check/repair for aging basketball court

  - Proposal for an “International Student Sports Festival”


We will continue to enhance academic support and campus services by reflecting international students’ feedback.
The International Student Representatives Meeting will be held regularly, and international students are strongly encouraged to participate.
